Your Ticket to the Future

You'll get immediate opportunities to perform in one of our four main stage productions throughout the school year.

Theatre/Musical Theatre

Approximately 50 theatre/musical theatre majors come to Tyler Junior College annually for an aggressive, action-packed two-year program designed to offer the student multiple performance and technical opportunities, a wealth of experience, growth and maturity, exciting challenges, and fulfillment of hard work well-done.

The Associate of Arts degree with an emphasis in theatre is designed to prepare students with a well-rounded experience. Students take courses suitable for their interests in performance, technical theatre and/or education.

Musical theatre majors participate in a sequence of courses in theatre, voice and dance. These students develop their skills through classroom, workshop, and varied performance opportunities.
