The mission of the Tyler Junior College Testing Services is to provide high-quality testing services that observe and adhere to the National College Testing Association's Professional Standards and Guidelines in order to meet the needs of our students, faculty and community members.
The Testing Center exists to support the integrity of the testing process by creating a quiet, comfortable and clean environment conducive to productive testing, providing great customer service by being friendly, courteous and supportive, by collaborating with faculty, administrators, other colleges and universities and working with testing vendors and national organizations to keep abreast of best practices.
COVID-19 Update for the Testing Center
Masks will be required for all testing on-campus starting July 1. Please bring your mask, or if you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you.

Located at TJC West within the Regional and Training Development Complex, we will be offering many of the same testing services found at the Main Campus Testing location. This provides a convenient place to test for students living on the West and North end of Tyler. Testing services we will be providing at TJC West will include:
- Exams for Online and Hybrid Courses
- Admissions tests for some of our programs (TEAS, HESI (A2), Bennett)
- Placement Tests (TSI)
