Locations and Hours
The Tyler Junior College Police Department is located at the corner of Lake and Baxter which is on the Northwest section of the campus. (Adjacent to Hudnall Hall) A Campus Police substation is located on the 2nd floor of Rogers Student Center.
Main Police Department Lobby Hours:
- Open 24 hours, 7 days a week
Roger's Student Center Substation Hours:
- Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday & Sunday: Closed
TJC West Police Office
- Monday - Thursday: 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Saturday & Sunday: Closed
TJC Student IDs
Each student at Tyler Junior College must obtain a TJC Student Identification card and lanyard in conjunction with the registration process. Similarly, employees will obtain an ID card at the time of hire. These cards are to be retained throughout the student’s attendance at TJC and should be updated during each registration period. A student must present a PAID registration receipt in order to obtain an ID card or update sticker from the Campus Police Department.
You may obtain a parking pass by visiting the TJC Police Substation in the Rogers Student Center. To receive a parking pass, you will need to provide:
- Your license plate #
- Your drivers license #
- Your TJC-issued student ID
TJC students may ride Tyler Transit buses for free by showing their TJC ID badge. For bus routes, visit: https://www.cityoftyler.org/government/departments/tyler-transit/map-and-schedules

The TJC Police Department uses the US National Property Register as its registration partner to help reduce crime and reunite faculty, staff, and students with lost and stolen property, including cell phones, laptops, tablets, bicycles and many other types of valuables.
