New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation at TJC seeks to prepare students for academic and social engagement as members of the TJC family. Through our transition programs and resources, we aim to provide information and experiences that will support students and their families during their transition to college and throughout their journey towards a timely graduation.
TJC is committed to providing students with a positive learning experience and believes that to ensure a productive start to that journey, there is information and experiences that students need to receive and take part in. For this reason, completion of New Student Orientation is mandatory for all first-time-in-college students.

Families & Parents
College is a great opportunity for students to become more self-sufficient. It is also a great opportunity for parents to continue to offer their advice and wisdom while allowing their student to create their own path.
We are thankful to have the support of parents and family members and we recognize how significant each of these individuals are in the lives of our students. We are happy to offer orientation programming for parents and family members.
