Our mission is to provide new students and their families with a positive transition experience fastened in our institutional promises of quality education, vibrant student life, and community service. During New Student Orientation you'll experience a slice of life here at TJC. You'll stay on campus at one of our 8 residence halls and meet fellow TJC freshman.
New Student Orientation's personal approach to academic and student life at TJC eases your transition from high school to college. At NSO you'll have the opportunity to take a placement test, bond with potential classmates, learn more about different resources and services TJC offers, select classes for the fall semester and so much more!
Families & Parents
Families are also encouraged to attend New Student Orientation at TJC. Family sessions range from information on payment plans, housing contracts, meal plans to tips for families to help encourage their students to become even more successful!
