What will I get from my session?
Your confidence is an essential component in your ability to feel capable - especially when you’re beginning something as life-changing as college.
The connections you make with your peers and the institution will help you become successful during your first semester and throughout your time at TJC.
Establishing your personal path to your goals is a key component in finding success during college. Our team will ensure you have the information you need to move forward prepared.
New Student Orientation is the first step toward your academic success and graduation. Our personal approach is designed to ease your transition from high school to college both academically and socially.
Studies show that students who attend orientation are better prepared for their first semester in college and are more likely to graduate. Since your success is our mission, all first time in college students must attend New Student Orientation in order to be successful in their first year and beyond.
Families & Parents
College is a great opportunity for students to become more self-sufficient. It is also a great opportunity for parents to continue to offer their advice and wisdom while allowing their student to create their own path.
We are thankful to have the support of parents and family members and we recognize how significant each of these individuals are in the lives of our students. We are happy to offer orientation programming for parents and family members.
