Conditions and Responsibilities
Tyler Junior College (TJC) and/or its agent, act only in the capacity of agents for passengers in all matters pertaining to travel either by plane, motorcoach, car, ferry, or any other means of conveyance. TJC assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, schedule change, or inconvenience caused by or resulting from defect or malfunction of transportation equipment, or acts of declared or undeclared wars or insurrections, fire, civil disturbances, strikes, bankruptcy of airline, or other tour providers, weather, riots, theft, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, medical or custom regulation or acts of God.
If written cancellation is received 90 days prior to departure
- $50 per person penalty; If written cancellation is received 89-61 days prior
- 25% per person penalty; If written cancellation is received 60-31 days prior
- 50% per person penalty; If written cancellation is received 30-0 days prior
No Refund for less than 30 days prior to departure date.
Percentages will be calculated based on the published tour registration fee accordingly.
Insurance: Health, accident, baggage, and trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended and is available from any travel agent. If you expect any chance of cancellation, we recommend the purchase of the insurance.
Note: travel cancellation insurance coverage only applies if (a) you purchased the policy within 7days of initial trip payment, and (b) the financial default occurs more than 14 days after the policy effective date. If you need to change your payment plan because of purchasing travel cancellation insurance, please let me know. I will be happy to change your payment plan.
If the college cancels the tour, your fee (the land portion) will be fully refunded any time 90 days before our trip.
Tyler Junior College assumes no responsibilities for refunding your airline tickets under any circumstances. Flight tickets issued by the airlines shall constitute the sole contract between you and the airlines.
