College Success Coaching helps TJC students reach their full potential by increasing the connection points between students and TJC from entrance to graduation. Research shows that students who have access to college faculty and staff reach a higher level of success in accomplishing their goals. The College Success Coaching department is located in Vaughn Library (inside the Apache Tutoring Center) and has two components:

Full-time College Success Coaches are available to help you overcome obstacles on your path to academic success. It’s common for students to have concerns or questions as they learn to navigate the college landscape. Topics you might discuss with a full-time coach include:

- TJC Campus Resources
Campus Coaches
We help you find Campus Coaches who might be able to answer questions related to your major or field of interest. These coaches are faculty and staff who have each learned from their own collegiate experiences and are ready to answer college-related questions. Topics you might discuss with a Campus Coach include:
- Questions About Your Major
- Course and Instructor Insights
- Occupational Questions
- University Options
- Balancing Work and Classes
