Economists form the backbone of all business and government – they analyze data and trends to lay the groundwork for big decisions and big results.

The Associate of Arts in Economics degree will prepare you for the rigor of university economics courses, as well as provide a broad foundation for careers in the public or private sector. 

Economists are hired in a large range of institutions, including education, government, non-profit and NGOs. Median income for economists was $91,860 in 2010 and has a 14 percent projected growth for the next 10 years.  (US Bureau of Labor)
