Connecting to the TJC Secure Wireless Network for Faculty, Staff, and Students using Apple devices

There are multiple versions of iOS for iPhones and iPads, but the directions below will assist the majority of iPhone/iPad users with connecting to the TJC-Secure SSID. Please try the following instructions and if you experience any issues you need assistance with, please call the OTS ServiceDesk at 903-510-3269.

Step 1: Open your Wi-Fi settings on your iPhone or iPad and select the TJC-Secure Wireless SSID.

Step 2: Input your Username(A#) and Password (AD/network info)

Step 3: You will be redirected to this page. Click on “Trust”.

Step 4: You will be redirected to this page and read the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and select “Agree”.

Step 5: Once you have accepted the AUP you will be redirected to this screen where you input your Username(A#) and Password (AD/network info) again.

Step 6: Once you have entered your credentials and hit continue you will be redirected to the following page. This can take up to a minute to complete!

Step 7: Once the progress bar is finished loading you will see a check next to TJC-Secure. Please note, this can take up to a minute to complete as well. 

• Depending on the device, you may be redirected to our TJC.edu website, or you will need to manually open a browser to access the Internet.

Please note: If you are using a device that has an issue, or vulnerability, or is perceived as a security threat, you will receive the following screen. Please contact the OTS ServiceDesk at 903-510-3269 and we will be happy to assist you.

Connecting to the TJC Guest Network

For TJC guests we have also provided a TJC-Guest SSID for wireless connectivity.

Step 1: Select the TJC-Guest Network to connect to on your device.

Step 2: Once selected you will be redirected to this page where you insert our required fields and accept our Terms of Service.

Step 3: Once you have completed Step 2, select sign in and you will be directed to www.tjc.edu and will be able to enjoy our complimentary guest network.
