Instructions for Android users
Connecting to the TJC Secure Wireless Network for Faculty, Staff, and Students using Android devices
Step 1: When you open your WiFi settings on your mobile device, please select the TJC-Secure Wireless SSID.
- Under the CA certificate, select “Don’t Validate”
Step 2: Under Phase 2 authentication, please select “MSCHAPV2” and select “Connect”.
Step 3: Please select “Always Connect”.
Step 4: You will then be redirected to this page and select “Agree”.
Step 5: Once you have accepted the AUP, you will be redirected to this screen where you Input your Username (A#) and Password (AD/network info) again:
Step 6: Once you have entered your credentials and hit continue you will be redirected to this page:
Step 7: Once the progress bar is finished loading you will see that TJC-Secure now shows connected in your Internet/Wireless settings. Depending on the device, you may be redirected to TJC.edu, or you will need to close your internet/wireless settings and manually open a browser to access the Internet.
Please note: If you are using a device that has an issue, or vulnerability, or is perceived as a security threat, you will receive the following screen. Please contact the OTS ServiceDesk at 903-510-3269 and we will be happy to assist you.
Connecting to the TJC Guest Network
For TJC guests we have also provided a TJC-Guest SSID for wireless connectivity.
Step 1: Go to your device’s wireless settings.
Step 2: Select the TJC-Guest Network to connect to your device.
Step 3: Once selected you will be redirected to this page where you will need to insert the required fields and accept our Terms of Service.
