Academic Advising for In-Depth Support

For more comprehensive academic advising, our advisors are organized by academic pathways and are equipped to assist all student affinity groups, general studies, and undecided majors.

We offer flexible advising options: in-person, and via Zoom, and at registration events.

Advising Appointment Hours:

  • Monday - Wednesday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Thursday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Walk-ins are always welcome!

Scheduling Your Appointment

Important Notes for Appointments:

  • First-time TJC students should aim to see an academic advisor in person if possible. If an in-person meeting isn't feasible, please schedule a Zoom appointment.
  • We do not offer phone appointments. Proper academic advising often requires visual aids to demonstrate student information, support services, and degree plans.
  • For quick questions, please text us.
  • New TJC students: If you haven't completed your TSI exam or provided exemption evidence, your appointment may be canceled, as we cannot assist with course registration without this information.
  • Zoom appointments are available for TJC students only.
