Nursing, Associate Degree | TJC

Nursing, Associate Degree

Nursing is a unique, dynamic profession committed to holistic care of patients through health promotion, diagnosis, and treatment of actual or potential health problems. The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program at TJC provides hands-on skills training and clinical experience that will prepare you to enter the fast-growing healthcare field as a registered nurse in a variety of healthcare settings.

The ADN program is a 60-credit hour curriculum that leads to an Associate of Applied Science degree. Graduates of the program are prepared to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Successful completion of the NCLEX-RN provides the professional credentials to practice as a registered nurse.

Clinical Health Requirements for ADN Students

Effective September 1, 2017, if you are applying to the Associate Degree Nursing program, as part of your application you need to provide proof that you comply with certain Clinical Health Requirements. Read more about health requirements.
