Chimney sweeps who step in time. Those precocious, kite-flying Banks children. The bird woman on the cathedral steps. A spoonful of sugar. That mysterious nanny who’s practically perfect in every way.

These iconic images and many more will come to life on the stage in Theatre TJC’s production of “Mary Poppins,” Disney’s musical retelling of the classic tale by P.L. Travers.

Performances are 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 23-25, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, in Wise Auditorium, on the TJC main campus.

Tickets are $10 for adults, and $5 for seniors and students. The TJC Box Office opens Wednesday, Feb. 15, and box office hours are noon-6 p.m. weekdays during the run of the show. For reservations, call 903-510-2212.
