Tyler Junior College is taking its admissions and advising act on the road and heading south to Jacksonville.
TJC will offer an admissions, career-planning and advising rally from noon to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at the Holiday Inn Express Conference Room, located at 1923 S. Jackson St., in Jacksonville.
“No matter which of our locations you choose to take your classes, we’re offering admissions and advising assistance close to home,” said TJC Director of Admissions Claire Mizell. “Current and prospective TJC students from high school seniors through adults can apply, get advised and prepared to register for summer and fall classes held at any TJC location.”
Recruiters, advisors and career-planning specialists will be available to assist with:
• Career path assessment and planning
• Submitting admissions documents
• Getting advised on courses and majors
Students who are new to – or considering attending – TJC will can also receive assistance with applying to TJC and completing Part 1 of New Student Orientation.
Interested persons should bring their Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Assessment scores or exemption with them.
