Important Dates

Starting Feb. 25 Mandatory Floor Meetings in Halls to cover Spring Break information. $25 fine for not attending. Talk to your Hall staff in advance if meeting times aren’t convenient.
March 6 Deadline to sign-up to stay on campus during Spring Break. $25 a night charge to stay on campus added to your TJC account, sign up at the Housing office front desk.
March 9 Spring Break Closing --- Halls close at 12 noon
Talk to the Hall staff if you need to leave later
March 18 Spring Break Open – Halls open at 2 p.m.
Starting April 2

Claim your room for Fall 2018! Contract renewal begins in the housing office
Complete information will be in the hall – talk to your hall staff

April 12 Last Chance to claim a room for the Fall 2018 semester. All contract renewal is done in the Housing office.
April 18 Deadline to pay $150 deposit to hold your room for Fall 2018
April 20 Fall assigned rooms canceled if $150 deposit not paid

May 11 Semester Closing – Halls close at 10 a.m.
Talk to your hall staff if you need to leave later. 

Fall 2018 - Claiming your room

Current residents with at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA will claim their fall room between April 2 – April 6, 2018 in the Housing Office. Room selection priority is based on your GPA. The higher your GPA, the sooner you can visit Housing to claim our room. The complete schedule will be in the residence halls. The contract renewal steps are listed below. The process goes faster if you’ll complete a Current Resident housing application before you visit Housing to claim your room.

  • Complete a “Current Resident” Housing application on Apache Access. Click on the link below for the application.
  • Pay the $150 room deposit to hold your room. The $150 will be applied to the Fall 2018 room charges.
  • April 18 --deadline to pay the $150 room deposit and hold your room.
  • April 20 – rooms will be taken from those who haven’t paid the $150 deposit
  • June 1 – deadline to cancel your room assignment and receive the $150 deposit refund
