What are Baylor's transfer requirements?
To apply for transfer to Baylor, students must create an account
through Baylor's admissions portal, goBaylor. This tool will guide
students through the admissions process one step at a time - from
submitting their application to negotiating housing decisions, advising
and registering for classes.
Academic requirements for Transfer Admission:
- The median GPA range for accepted transfer students is 3.1-3.6 on a 4.0 scale.
- Must be eligible to return to Tyler Junior College or any other college/university previously attended.
- Plan to transfer no later than the end of your sophomore year (at least 60 hours must be earned in residence at Baylor, including the last 30, in order to obtain a degree from Baylor).
- If you will have fewer than 24 credit hours, you must meet freshman admission standards.
