Do dual-credit courses transfer to other institutions?
Yes. Most of the classes we offer at the high school are basic, core classes which are guaranteed to transfer to Texas public colleges and universities. Many also transfer to Texas private colleges and universities, as well as schools out of state.
Depending on the student’s major when they attend college, those credits may count toward their degree or as an elective for their degree. It is always in the student’s best interest to contact the college or university they are planning to attend to see how their dual credit courses factor into their required degree plan.
