Can I change my room/hall?

If a student is requesting a reassignment for a room which they have been assigned for an upcoming semester, the request can be sent from the student’s TJC email address to housing@tjc.edu; However, the student would need to be unassigned from that room space and placed on a waitlist. We cannot guarantee that another room will become available.

If a current resident would like to change rooms during the semester, Residential Life and Housing will take hall and room change requests into consideration beginning on the 12th day of class. The request period will only stay open for a few days. Information on when and how to send a change request will be posted on the announcement page of the Residence Portal when the request period is approaching. Residential Life and Housing cannot guarantee we can fulfill every request. It will depend on the available space.
