If so, then our Healthcare Administration BAT degree program might be the perfect fit for you. Our degree will provide you the next step in a foundation and framework for growth and success as a healthcare manager by reinforcing important business knowledge and skills.

The Healthcare Administration program emphasizes a career-focused curriculum with practical, hands-on projects. Applicants are eligible for admission to the program if they have earned an associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration (AAS), Medical Office Management (AAS), Health Information Technology (AAS), or Business Management (AAS) with a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher.

Applicants with prior college-level coursework or an AAS, AA, or AS degree that is non-healthcare related or those without the required associate’s degree should consult with an academic advisor or department chair for additional admission information for the degree program.

To apply for acceptance into the program, complete a selective admissions application. Email the HCA selective admissions application and current resume to validate your healthcare work experience to the Dept. Chair at becky.western@tjc.edu. You may also mail or drop off the information at the Office of the Dean of Schools of Professional and Technical Programs in the Pirtle Technology Building, Room 203, on TJC's Central campus.
