The Industrial Maintenance Technology program prepares students for various industrial maintenance-related careers using an industry-guided curriculum and practical hands-on labs.
Studies focus on concepts and technologies that include but are not limited to, basic electrical theory and print reading, maintenance concepts (mechanical and electrical), mechanical drives, piping, boiler operation, rigging, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Students are introduced to pumps and compressors, motors, transformers, programmable logic controllers, and heating and cooling principles. While in this program, students gain experience and skills in various disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical, and HVAC/R.
