Center for Student Life and Involvement

Our prime objective in Student Life is to support and enhance the Colleges educational mission. We strive to create and maintain a healthy, safe living and learning environment that: promotes learning; supports a residential community in which students are involved and have a sense of belonging; provides support for students in need; encourages students to become leaders; offers a wide range of exciting social options; and fosters respect for the dignity and worth of all persons. In short, we seek to challenge and support our students to become responsible, engaged citizens of the campus community as well as the community around them.

Want to Get Involved?

The Center for Student Life and Involvement is the place to find out how you can get involved on campus.

Join an Organization

There are over 50 organizations which include educational, religious, special interests, governmental and departmental. Depending on your interest, contact the sponsor and find out more about the organization and when they meet. If there is not an organization that fits your style you can create your own organization.

You can also come by the Student Activities Office located on the second floor of the Rogers Student Center and we will give you more information about the group.

Why should I get involved?

The primary reason for getting involved is for fun and to meet other students. There are a lot of other reasons including good practical work experience, resume building, and to increase your satisfaction with your college experience.
