TJC students will get chance at 'Money Grab'
Published Tuesday, 15th April 2014
Tyler Junior College will continue its recognition of Financial Literacy Week, April 14-17, with a Money Grab on Wednesday, April 16.
Students will have their chance to get inside a “phone booth” in which paper money is blown through the air.
Participants will “earn” time in the booth based upon the number of financial literacy questions they answered correcly. Once inside the booth, participants will grab as many paper bills as possible before time expires.
They’ll be given real cash equal to the paper money they collected.
The event will take place on the second floor of Rogers Student Center, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
The event is part of the Good Cents financial literacy campaign, sponsored by Texas Bank and Trust.
