TJC introduces inaugural softball signing class

Published Wednesday, 15th January 2014

The era of Tyler Junior College softball began today.

In front of their families and TJC faculty and staff, 16 student-athletes signed NJCAA National Letters of Intent in Wagstaff Gymnasium.

“We are so excited that these ladies have chosen to begin their collegiate career at Tyler Junior College,” TJC Women’s Softball Head Coach Nicole Dickson said.

“TJC is a special place with great people, and these ladies have an amazing opportunity to be a part of something big. We are so thankful and blessed to have these student-athletes join our Apache family and look forward to watching them grow and develop at TJC.”

Beginning in Fall 2014, TJC women’s softball will participate at the NJCAA Division I level and compete within the NJCAA Region XIV Athletic Conference.
