Tyler Junior College

The Associate of Science degree in biology is intended to provide students with the first two years of college biology education. The Associate of Science degree in biology is suitable for students interested in careers in the health professions that require an advanced degree, for example: medicine, dentistry, occupational therapy, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, physician assistant and veterinary medicine. Students interested in one of these pre-professional areas are encouraged to meet with a TJC academic advisor and an advisor at their intended transfer institution to review course requirements and customize their degree plan accordingly.
