Housing Costs

Housing costs for the 2015 - 2016 academic year will be posted on November 1, 2014.

Housing costs for the current 2014 - 2015 academic year are posted below.

Fall 2014 - Spring 2015

The rates below include the cost of the mandatory meal plan. Each of the stated rates includes $90.00 sales tax which is assessed on the $1,100 mandatory meal plan.  All rates listed are "per semester, per resident."

Coed by Floor or by Wing: Ornelas Hall Complex - $3,690
Coed by Floor: Bateman Hall - $2,640

All Female: Vaughn Hall - $2,640
Female Athletics: Hudnall Hall - $2,640

Male: Holley Hall - $2,640 
         Lewis Hall - $2,465 
Male Athletics: Sledge Hall (Football) and Claridge Hall - $2,640

MayMester 2015

$375 for the 3-week session. No meal plan is available.

Summer 2015

$975 per session includes cost of mandatory meal plan and includes sales tax. There will be one coed hall operated for both summer sessions. 

Payment Options

When a room assignment is made, the Housing charges are placed on the student's TJC account. All charges can be seen on the student's Apache Access account. The Housing charges must be paid, or arrangements to pay must be completed, prior to move-in. Payments can be made through the TJC Cashier's Office located in the White Administration building. There are 4 ways to pay the Housing charges.

  • Scholarships and Performance Grants - contact the Sholarship office on campus
  • Out of Pocket or Private Pay – the complete amount paid before move-in
  • Installment Plan - established through Business Services
  • Financial Aid - provide Housing with a copy of the Financial Aid award letter
