Tyler Junior College

Senior's College

Tyler Junior College’s mission is to provide life-long opportunities that broaden the mind, challenge the spirit and maximize human potential. An integral part of the community, the College provides these opportunities in an environment which encourages the full participation of all its citizens.

In 1997, Seniors College was established as the primary instrument for special educational programs for adults over 50 years of age.

As successful as the "College" was, we knew that change was absolutely essential if we were to meet the challenges of a growing adult population, particularly in East Texas. Beginning with the year 2000, we introduced the next generation of a concept tailored exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling life-long needs and desires for learning.

Each spring, summer and fall, the College will offer a menu of courses specifically designed for the 50 and over adult.

Procedures for Class Registration

Seniors College Registration will begin as soon as the Continuing Studies Catalog is published and distributed, spring, summer and fall. See our related downloads for the most up-to-date Catalog.
