  • Piggyback Classes

Piggyback courses are credit classes that are made available to non-credit continuing education students, primarily to give you an opportunity to gain personal enrichment and insight into the particular program while earning Continuing Education Units (CEUs), when applicable, not college credit. They are not necessarily designed to prepare you for a career. You will be required to perform all written assignments and take course tests deemed “essential elements” of the course. In addition, you must follow and exhibit all expected safety, courtesy, attendance and attitude requirements of the individual programs. If you are seriously interested in entering one of the career fields in which Piggyback courses are offered and receiving college credit, we encourage you to contact the TJC Admissions Office at 903-510-2523. Textbooks may be required for each Piggyback course and may be purchased at the Main Campus Bookstore, located in the Rogers Student Center.
