The
President's Circle
As
enrollment continues to grow, the financial needs of our students also
continue to increase. Tyler Junior College continues to be the
primary choice for many students in its service area due to its
relatively low cost, the quality of instructions provided by dedicated
faculty members, and a warm, and friendly campus climate.
Tyler Junior College meets the financial needs of many students
through its Presidential and Dean's scholarship endowment program,
performance scholarships, and other institutionally funded scholarship
programs.
To maintain and to strengthen Tyler Junior College's position as the
leading community college in the State of Texas, the College requires
significant programmatic, capital, and endowment resources. In
addition to the increase in enrollment, we project that students
requiring financial aid will increase at a similar rate.
President's Circle members contribute $1,000. annually to support the
President's Circle Fund held in the Tyler Junior College's
Foundation. This account provides the President of Tyler Junior
College flexibility to meet our College's most urgent needs.
Each year, over half of the President's Circle is used to support
local students graduating in the top ten of their respective high
school classes.
You may contribute $1,000. annually, quarterly, or monthly. Corporate
matching gifts count toward your total contribution and your
eligibility for membership in the President's Circle. Obtain a
matching gift from your Personnel or Human Resources office.
