My name is Rebecca Foster I teach Introduction to Sociology 1301 and Social Problems, Sociology 1306.

My Introduction to Sociology class is also offered as an internet class. I communicate regularly with by students via e-mail. This course number is Sociology 1301.570, 571, 572.

In my regular classes I stress individual, and group participation. Discussion topics include the family, religion, education, economics, and government. I encourage my students to get involved in community activities (Women of Grace and the Alzheimer Walk in October).

In Social Problems I bring in guest speakers from the community and I stress community involvement. This class would be a recommended elective for Criminal Justice, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology majors.
