NOTICE OF MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Tyler Junior College District will meet at 10:00 a.m. on the 22nd day of October, 2009 in the Board Conference Room, White Administrative Services Center, at the College in the City of Tyler, Texas for the following purpose:

1. Work session on finances.
2. Update on maintenance tax notes.
3. Discussion regarding the College Procedural Calendar.
4. Discussion regarding Board Policy Manual revisions.

NOTICE OF MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Tyler Junior College District will meet at 11:00 a.m. on the 22nd day of October, 2009, in the Board Room, White Administrative Services Center, at the College in the City of Tyler, Texas, for the purpose of addressing the following agenda:

1. Consideration of minutes of the meeting held on September 24, 2009.
2. Report on athletics.
3. Presentation on the 2009-2010 College Procedural Calendar.
4. Consideration of additions, revisions and deletions to the Tyler Junior College Board Policy Manual.
5. Consideration of certification of Van Zandt County tax roll in accordance with Section 26.09(e) of the State Property Tax Code.
6. Consideration of monthly financial and investment reports.
7. Consent agenda:
a. consideration of interlocal agreement between Tyler Junior College and Region VII Education Service Center Purchasing Cooperative.
8. President's Report on upcoming events.
9. Closed meeting.
a. personnel matters (Government Code 551.074) including appointment, resignation, retirement and leave of absence of faculty and staff and discussion regarding evaluation of the President.
b. deliberation regarding real property (Government Code 551.072).
