NOTICE OF MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Tyler Junior College District will meet at 10:00 a.m. on the 23rd day of July, 2009 in the Board Conference Room, White Administrative Services Center, at the College in the City of Tyler, Texas for the following purpose:

1. Work session on finances and preliminary 2009-2010 budget.
2. Discussion regarding fee and continuation proposal from Randall Scott
Architects.
3. Discussion regarding restatement of TJC money purchase plan.
4. Discussion regarding change in testing and remediation package for the associate
degree nursing program and associated fee increase.
5. Discussion regarding critical infrastructure issues.
6. Preview of fall registration television ad.


NOTICE OF MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Tyler Junior College District will meet at 11:00 a.m. on the 23rd day of July, 2009, in the Board Room, White Administrative Services Center, at the College in the City of Tyler, Texas, for the purpose of addressing the following agenda:

1. Consideration of minutes of the meeting held on May 28, 2009.
2. Report on college preparatory studies.
3. Presentation on campus infrastructure.
4. Consideration of proposal to increase tax revenues for 2009 and set dates for public hearings.
5. Discussion regarding draft of the 2009-2010 budget.
6. Consideration of authorization of House Bill 1568.
7. Consideration of monthly financial and investment reports.
8. Consent agenda:
a. consideration of fee proposal for TJC master planning services continuation from Randall Scott Architects.
b. consideration of restatement of Tyler Junior College Money Purchase Plan/retirement plan and authorized signatures.
c. consideration of testing and remediation package for associate degree nursing and associated fee increase.
9. President?s Report on upcoming events.
10. Closed meeting.
a. personnel matters (Government Code 551.074) including appointment, resignation, retirement and leave of absence of faculty and staff.
