TJC will hold a Hispanic Community Picnic on Saturday, June 16, for prospective students and their families.
The free event, which will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Jenkins Lawn, located at 1400 E. Fifth St., on the TJC main campus, will be conducted mostly by TJC’s bilingual staff members and student assistants. Lunch will be provided.
Participants will be introduced to TJC staff members, who will provide information on admissions, financial aid, academic advising, residential life, and the TJC Hispanic Student Organization.
“Guests will have the opportunity to visit with TJC staff to discuss the enrollment process, and we will have many Spanish-speaking representatives from the college,” said TJC Director of Admissions Nidia Hassan. “We invite prospective students and their families to attend this informative event.”
