TJC adds mid-summer term to schedule

Tyler Junior College is offering a mid-summer term between its Summer I and Summer II sessions.
“Area school districts are wrapping up their year a bit later than usual, and our Summer I session is already under way,” said Janna Chancey, TJC dean of enrollment management. “We have added this mid-summer term to offer graduating seniors and others this additional chance to pick up some college classes prior to Summer II.”
The mid-summer term begins Monday, June 17, and ends Thursday, July 18. Classes will be held on the TJC main campus and a few are available online.
Classes offered include: art appreciation, algebra, developmental math, economics, English composition, world literature, government, U.S. history, humanities, music appreciation, speech, sociology and psychology.

To become a student at TJC, there are four steps to the application process:
• Fill out an application at www.tjc.edu/apply
• Submit transcripts
• Submit test scores
• Turn in mandatory vaccination form
