TJC choral groups’ annual ‘Christmas Downtown’ set Nov. 29

The Tyler Junior College Chamber Singers and Concert Choir are preparing for their annual “Christmas Downtown” holiday concert.

The performance is set for noon Wednesday, Nov. 29, in the sanctuary of Marvin United Methodist Church, located at 300 W. Erwin St., in downtown Tyler.

Admission to the concert is free. Following the performance, lunch will be served in the church’s Pirtle Hall. Cost of the lunch is $5 per person.

The TJC choral department is under the direction of Dr. Eric Posada.

Program selections include many familiar carols, including “Do You Hear What I Hear?” and “Carol of the Bells,” among other holiday favorites.
