PREREQUISITE: Ability to read and play typical ensemble pieces. Such ability will be confirmed by a playing audition and the recommendation of the private lesson instructor. Required course, starting with the second semester of private lessons, of all music majors whose principle instrument is the classical guitar. Must be concurrently enrolled in private classical guitar lessons.

DESCRIPTION OF COURSE: Guitar Ensemble is a select group of two to sixteen students which plays special arrangements for guitar "orchestra". Admission by audition and/or invitation of the director.
