ITV Video Tape Check Out Policy

Vaughn Library's policy for checking out ITV video tapes in an on-going effort to better serve the needs of its patrons. During the long (Fall and Spring) semesters, the student may check out the first two units for a particular ITV course or courses.

When the first two tapes are returned and check in to the library, the student may then check out the next two units. All video units must be returned to the library by the time the final exam is given. If the final exam is not taken at the scheduled time for whatever reason, the tapes are still due the day of the scheduled final exam. the only exceptions to this policy must be cleared in advance with the Director of Library Information Services or her designated substitute by calling (903) 510-2502.

The same rules apply for ITV tapes check out during the special term.

Failure to return ITV tapes on time will result in fines of 25¢ per tape, up to ten dollars ($10.00). the charge to replace a lost or damaged tape is fifteen dollars ($15.00).

In order to check out ITV videos, a student must present, at the circulation desk with the video(s), his / her enrollment form (received during registration providing enrollment in that ITV course) OR an ITV course syllabus. A current student ID card must also be presented at this time. Exceptions to this requirement will not be granted.
