Our mission is to provide new students and their families with a positive transition experience fastened in our institutional promises of quality education, vibrant student life, and community service.
New Student Orientation's personal approach to academic and student life at Tyler Junior College eases the new student's transition from high school to college. At NSO a student can take a placement test, bond with potential classmates, learn more about different resources and services TJC offers, select classes for the fall semester and so much more!
Families are also encouraged to attend New Student Orientation at TJC. Family sessions range from information on payment plans, housing contracts, meal plans to tips for families to help encourage their students to become even more successful!
