Students must take and pass the HESI exam before setting for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians examination.

Admission to the program is selective and prior acceptance to the program is required before enrollment. All applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check that includes the provision of necessary documentation for the background check agency to make it reliable. Said documentation may include an authenticated social security card and positive identification such as a driver’s license or identification card.
