I have been 28 years of corporate management experience and currently own a residential construction company. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and finance from Stephen F. Austin State University and my MBA in management for the University of Texas at Tyler. My primary teaching areas are small business/entrepreneurship, financial management principles of management, financial literacy, marketing, business principles and leadership. Within the leadership class our student participate with the Make A Wish Foundation to design projects that provide resources to grant "Wishes" to special needs and terminally ill children. I have taught as an adjunct instructor for the University of Texas at Tyler
I enjoy sailing, skiing, and spending time with my family.
I received my BBA degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and my MBA from East Texas State University. Throughout my early academic career I worked extensively with community employer groups to facilitate management training programs, developing professional development programs and industrial seminars. My teaching areas involve marketing, small business/entrepreneurship, principles of management, human resource management and organizational behavior.
I received a BBA in Accounting and Information Management and a MS in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Texas at Dallas. I hold a CPA license in Texas, and maintain an income tax and small business consulting practice. Primary teaching areas are transfer accounting principles courses as well as introductory accounting and specialized bookkeeping certificate courses. I serve as a contact representative for TJC with the East Texas Chapter of CPAs, and liaison with local accounting firms in regard to employment opportunities for TJC accounting students.
Lindsey A. Gainer
I am a former executive manager in the health care field and have spent over twenty years in varied organizational analysis and strategic planning positions in local businesses as well as non-profit community organizations. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and my M.B.A. from LeTourneau University. Additionally, I have completed advanced graduate certification in Executive Management from the Wharton School of Business, Univ. of PA.
My primary teaching areas involve principles of management, organizational behavior, financial literacy, small business/entrepreneurship, human resources management, and strategic management. I have served as an adjunct professor at LeTourneau University.
I love to travel with my family, mostly to see Mickey Mouse.
