The School of Academic Foundations assists TJC students by providing instruction, services, innovative programs, and resources to strengthen academic success, improve student retention, and enhance college completion.

The School of Academic Foundations is committed to the Achieving the Dream (AtD) initiative, the American Association of Community College’s (AACC) College Completion agenda, and to campus and community partnerships.

Academic Foundations is comprised of three Departments to meet TJC student needs:
