Crew

Musical Theatre majors will be required to work 20 hours each fall semester as part of the crew for any plays, ballets, or musicals. The students must meet with the Director of the chosen production (immediately following auditions) in order to receive assignments.

Musical Theatre majors are required to register for Musical Theatre workshop each spring semester and will follow the guidelines and procedures as outlined in the course syllabus.

Meetings, guest lecturers, and workshops

Musical Theatre majors will be required to attend all Theatre/Musical Theatre meetings and well as the Music major meetings. Students will also be required to attend and possibly participate in any workshop and guest lecturer opportunities.

Juries

Musical Theatre majors will be required to recite a 2 minute monologue immediately following their voice jury each semester. These monologues will average into the semester grade for Acting I and II and for Musical Theatre I and II per the course syllabus.
