Musical Theatre majors are required to register for Musical Theatre workshop each spring semester and will follow the guidelines and procedures as outlined in the course syllabus.
Meetings, guest lecturers, and workshops
Musical Theatre majors will be required to attend all Theatre/Musical Theatre meetings and well as the Music major meetings. Students will also be required to attend and possibly participate in any workshop and guest lecturer opportunities.
Musical Theatre majors will be required to recite a 2 minute monologue immediately following their voice jury each semester. These monologues will average into the semester grade for Acting I and II and for Musical Theatre I and II per the course syllabus. Students will be evaluated on voice, diction, stage movement, and overall performance quality.
