Etiquette Dinner: Thursday, April 9, 2015
Join etiquette expert Doris Sharp as she teaches you everything you need to know about dining in a professional setting. This event is FREE for currently registered students and door prizes will be given! Pre-registration and business dress is required. The etiquette dinner will be from 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM in the Board Dining Room on the 3rd Floor of Rogers Student Center. Seating is limited, so register early using the Etiquette Dinner Registration Form or by calling 903-510-2334.
Guest Speaker: Terrance Garmon and the Smith County Young Lawyers Association: Monday, April 27, 2015
Join Assistant City Attorney Terrance Garmon and members of the Smith County Young Lawyers Association as they share what it really takes to get into law school and become a successful attorney. If you are considering law school, be sure to join Career Services and Phi Theta Kappa in the Apache Rooms of Rogers Student Center on Monday, April 27 at 5:00 PM. Light refreshments will be served.
Internship Fair: Friday, May 15, 2015
TJC Career Services is pleased to partner with the Tyler Chamber of Commerce Business Education Council, the University of Texas at Tyler, and Tyler ISD to host the first annual internship and summer jobs fair. Employers will be recruiting interns for the Fall semester. Internships are a great way to gain real-world experience and apply your education in a business setting. The internship fair will be from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM in the new TISD Career and Technology Center (on Earl Campbell Pkwy, near Bennett). Dress professionally and bring plenty of copies of your resume!
