Are you looking to meet the team and coaches of Apache Cheer? Attend one of our Recruit Weekend Clinics, February 27 and **May 07. (**Denotes tentative dates)
Large Co-ed cheer squad
Single base coed flying experience is preferred and we highly suggest that all ladies wanting to try out for a flier position be able to co-ed stunt already. Men wanting to tryout will also need to have coed stunt experience. All trying out will need to have tumbling experience. Please keep in mind we are a very competitive team and will have more people trying out than we can take so every skill you can master will greatly increase your chances.
All Girl cheer squad
This is going to be a new team for TJC and for Apache Cheer! Group stunting and flying experience is preferred as well as tumbling experience. Again, please keep in mind that this team will be a very competitive team and more people will tryout than we can take so every skill counts!
**If you need help finding someone who can help you prepare in your area, please contact us and we will help you find a suitable instructor.

Video Tryout Requirements
For those of you who may not be able to attend live tryouts, we will be accepting video tryouts. The deadline for video tryouts and tryout fee ($40) will be Friday 02 May. This is to ensure that all participants have the same time frame for their tryout process. If you have any questions please contact the coaching staff at 903.510.3183.
When choosing the skills you would like to showcase for your video tryout do not hesitate to try and impress. We recommend that you attempt each category, EVEN IF you may or may not be able to do something hard. If you do not at least try, you cannot earn any points. Do not leave any points behind! Also, the list below is a guideline and for ideas and reference. You may chose any skills you wish that you think would give you the edge in a live tryout with other people. Have fun and do your best!
