Center for Student Life and Involvement
Our purpose is to create leadership opportunities for students to evolve academically, socially and personally through dynamic programs and services.
The Center for Student Life and Involvement supports the three promises of Tyler Junior College and enhances the student experience by promoting success inside and outside of the classroom. Our programs create a rich sense of community on campus, offer avenues of exploration of varied interests, and integrate an enthusiastic culture of school spirit and tradition. We champion student empowerment by providing opportunities for student development in areas of student learning, leadership, and interpersonal and organizational growth.
Want to Get Involved?
The Center for Student Life and Involvement is the place to find out how you can get involved on campus.
Join an Organization
There are over 50 organizations which include educational, religious, special interests, governmental and departmental. Depending on your interest, contact the sponsor and find out more about the organization and when they meet. If there is not an organization that fits your style you can create your own organization.
Visit the Center for Student Life and Involvement office, located on the second floor of the Rogers Student Center, to get more information about an organization or upcoming campus events.
Why should I get involved?
The primary reason for getting involved is for fun and to meet other students. There are a lot of other reasons including good practical work experience, resume building, and to increase your satisfaction with your college experience.
