South Korea 2014

Apache Belle Gold Chapter Contest

Thank you Apache Belle alumni for your support of the Belle’s trip to entertain U. S. troops in South Korea. TJC alumni and friends have responded generously and have given more than $12,500!

With the trip quickly approaching, TJC ask former Belles to continue to “spread the word” to fellow alumni, friends and family in order to reach the $20,000 goal!

An Apache Belle alumna, Mary Lowe, is encouraging further giving with a generous challenge. Mary has committed to $5,000 and challenges the three Belle chapters to match or surpass her contribution through their combined efforts.

In honor of Mary’s challenge, TJC is launching a new tradition! The Belle alumni chapter that raises the most in travel funds will receive the new “Apache Belle Chapter Pride Spear!” This beloved prop has been used by generations of young women, and during the 2014 spring show, the victorious chapter will be recognized with the new award. This “traveling award” will bear trip mementos and will be held by a chapter for two years until the next international trip. The “Pride Spear” pays tribute Belle alumni and their dedication to providing once-in-a-lifetime experiences to the current team and continuing the Apache Belles’ legacy of service.

The competition has begun! “Spread the word” by sharing tjc.edu/sendbelles with alumni, friends and family! Please make sure that your contacts dedicate their gifts to your Belle chapter. The trip is just around the corner, so please reach out to your online contacts as soon as possible.

Thank you Belle alumni for your dedication to the TJC Apache Belles!
