A:
TJC offers such a warm and inviting atmosphere that really brings the students and faculty closer together.

Q: What's your favorite place on campus and why?
A:
Starbucks! I love that TJC has included outside vendors into our campus to make it more of a university atmosphere.

Q: What do you like about being an admissions counselor?
A:
It is very rewarding when a new first time student or returning adult student comes to my office to discuss their future and they want me to be a part of it!

Q: What advice would you give to college-bound students?
A:
College is a place where you get to start fresh, so take advantage of the friendships and opportunities that come your way!

TJC offers a 4 year university atmosphere at the 2 year college level.

A:
It would have to be Wagstaff Gymnasium. It is a great place to check out some of TJC’s Athletic programs.

I enjoy helping people realize their goal of receiving a higher education.

A:
Make the best of your college experience. Great involved and take care of business.

The fact that I get to be a part of the initial process in helping students achieve their educational and career goals.

A:
Get involved, make some friends, and work hard. The activities, contacts, and work habits you learn in college are the things that will carry you throughout your career.

 There are many opportunities for students to get involved beyond the classroom.

A:
The library is my favorite place because it offers infinite knowledge and Starbucks Coffee.

A:
I enjoy helping students through the process of continuing their education. It can be an overwhelming process and I’m glad to be able to help students through the transition.

Q: What advice would you give to college-bound students?
A:
 There are so many jobs and opportunities available through certificate and degree programs.  Find what you are interested in and set your educational goal. Make sure to ask for help or advice before you get overwhelmed.
