A:
TJC offers such a warm and inviting atmosphere that really brings the students and faculty closer together.

A:
Starbucks! I love that TJC has included outside vendors into our campus to make it more of a university atmosphere.

Q: What do you like about being an admissions counselor?
A:
It is very rewarding when a new first time student or returning adult student comes to my office to discuss their future and they want me to be a part of it!

Q: What advice would you give to college-bound students?
A:
College is a place where you get to start fresh, so take advantage of the friendships and opportunities that come your way!

  Jenkins Hall, not only for the way it looks but for the historical significance it represents within the college.

  I like seeing students early in their educational careers and helping them to make important decisions for their future.

A:
  Take advantage of every opportunity you have while in school, really work hard and develop skills that will be useful in your future.

 There are many opportunities for students to get involved beyond the classroom.

A:
The library is my favorite place because it offers infinite knowledge and Starbucks Coffee.

Q: What do you like about being an admissions counselor?
A:
I enjoy helping students through the process of continuing their education. It can be an overwhelming process and Iā€™m glad to be able to help students through the transition.

Q: What advice would you give to college-bound students?
A:
 There are so many jobs and opportunities available through certificate and degree programs.  Find what you are interested in and set your educational goal. Make sure to ask for help or advice before you get overwhelmed.
