Golf Tournament

The Tyler Junior College Foundation celebrated its 25th anniversary scholarship golf tournament with a record-setting number of sponsors and teams! The HGR General Contractors Scholarship Golf Tournament held on Thursday, September 6, was a tremendous success due to the support of many individuals and organizations.

Tournament Featured Speaker - Jim Knox
Four-time Emmy Winner

Featured speaker, Jim Knox, entertained a crowd of more than 250 at the luncheon sponsored by the Louis and Peaches Owen Family Foundation. Knox, a four-time Emmy winner, shared video and stories from his experiences roaming the sidelines at the Big XII Conference national football game of the week and as a roving reporter on Texas Rangers telecasts.
