General Information

 

Guest Guarantee Policy
A guaranteed number of guests must be given one week to 24 hours prior to the event. This guaranteed count will be the number for which you are billed. The minimum service charge for same day orders is $25.00. The minimum service charge for less than 48 hours notice is $15.00. There will need to be a minimum of 25 people for any weekend or shuttled caterings.

Cancellations
Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the event. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice are subject to a service charge at the discretion of the Food Service Director.

Booking of your Event
A two-week notice is recommended to serve you in the best way possible. Events for 200+ require a notice of four weeks. There will be a service charge for any weekend or evening event.

Linens
All food tables will be clothed and skirted for all banquets. If special linens are needed they can be ordered and the cost will be added to your final bill. Linens are available for all events and the charges will be added to your final bill. Tablecloth Rental is $2.50 per cloth per day.

Decorating
Basic decorating is available upon request. The price for the decorations will be based on the cost of the decorations and will be added to your final bill.

Catered Events that are not in the Rogers Student Center
All events that are not in the Rogers Student Center will be subject to a shuttle charge of $10.00-$50.00. The number of items needing to be shuttled will determine this cost. The minimum number to shuttle buffets, dinners or Hors d’oeuvre parties is 25 people.

“No Toting Privileges”
Due to Health Department Regulations, any food not consumed will become the property of Valley Catering Services.

Our Responsibilities to You
As soon as your catering request form is received, the event will be priced. A copy of the request form and pricing will be sent back to the contact person. When we have received your final approval on the catering request, we will need you to return to us a purchase order. We, as a catering staff, assure timely, quality, and adequate service. We will strive to meet and exceed your expectations.
