Intermediate Astrophotography

This course is an extension of Basic Astrophotography that moves into the more specific techniques involved in astrophotography. This will include photographic and video capture as well as computer image enhancement. Adaptation to telescopic tools will make more distance and fainter objects available to photograph such as nebulas. The course could aid students in science classes, add enhancement to professionals, and develop photographic and astronomical hobbies. Come take a look at Millions of year back in time and view the future while enjoying nature’s largest canvas. (10 hrs.)

SUPPLIES: Student’s own camera, film or digital Camera manual, charged or new batteries, memory card and PC connection cable, tripod, remote shutter release is optional. A quality observation guide will be available for purchase.
