Jami recieved her Associate Degree from TJC in 1998 and a Dual-Bachelor of Science in kinesiology and biology from East Texas Baptist University. Jami coached Soccer at Kilgore High School for the 2002-2003 season and Volleyball, Women's Basketball, and Track at Sabine Middle School during the 2004-2005 season, and currently an academic advisor at TJC.

She is UDA, AACCA, and NCA certified and is a member of the Texas High School Coaches Association. Jami became the head coach of the cheerleaders in July of 2006.
