Campus News: Apache Belles Perform at Dallas Cowboys Game
In December, the Apache Belles performed during pre-game and halftime activities at the next-to-last game the Cowboys played at Texas Stadium.
"We were there at the beginning and as the history of Texas Stadium comes to an end, we are thrilled to have been asked to help give it the send-off it so richly deserves. On October 24, 1971, the Apache Belles were honored to perform in the halftime show of Texas Stadium’s inaugural game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New England Patriots," said Apache Belles Director Ruth Flynn.
In addition to hoisting the American flag during the National Anthem, the Apache Belles performed a halftime routine with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
